Dear Colleagues,
We have finally made it through our Elementary & Intermediate Music Festivals and the Senior High Jazz Festival.  All of the concerts were fantastic.  Our students are truly talented.  What a wonderful experience for our young people!  The guest conductors were professional, giving our young musicians their high level of experience to enhance their own music skills.  My congratulations and thanks go to our wonderful coordinators:  Warren Arbiter, Band Coordinator; Sue Colgan-Borror, Orchestra Coordinator; Ann Foster, Chorus Coordinator and Rodrigo Vargas, Senior High School Jazz Coordinator.  Thanks also to their chairs and to the team of teachers working with them.  Thank you all for a job well done.
Now we look forward to the NYSSMA Solo Festival  (Up County in Somers and Down County in Harrison), the Majors Festival in Scarsdale and the Piano Festival in Rye.  We will need everyone's help in order for things to go smoothly.  Please make every effort to come out and assist at the tables, be a checker or supervise in the halls at one or more of these festivals.  This is a tremendous effort and your help is greatly appreciated by those in charge.
