Dear Colleagues,

Happy New Year!  This school year we are certainly proud of our accomplishments. There have been many long, difficult rehearsals and lessons to come through and we have met these challenges with our usual sense of grace and dignity.  There have been many concerts to which our students have received standing ovations.   We have a lot of happenings in view for the rest of this school year. 
Our Pre-Festival Rehearsals for the Elementary and Intermediate Music Festivals and the Senior High Jazz Festival are underway.  We look forward to a wonderful Music Festival, Saturday, February 28, 2004 and Sunday, February 29, 2004 at SUNY Purchase.  Then we will have the Majors Festival, March 26-27, Scarsdale HS, the Down County Solo Festival, April 16-17, Harrison HS, the Up County Solo Festival, April 23-24, Somers HS, and for the very first time a Piano Festival, May 14-15, School of the Holy Child.  Please adhere to the deadlines.  There are over a thousand students who will be participating in these musical events.
We need you support and help.  The Coordinators have already spent countless hours preparing.  Many times it is without adequate help and yet they have full time jobs to continue daily.   Please lend your assis
