If there are any new teachers in your district, or if you know of any returning teachers who are interested in joining WCSMA, please refer them to our WCSMA website (www.wcsma.org) and have them copy the membership form from there. Please encourage your colleagues to join your Association. Remember that WCSMA membership is held by individuals only, not by schools, and that only WCSMA members may send student to participate in county Festivals. Only WCSMA members will be mailed information about festivals.

Update from Choral Coordinator Ann Foster

This year's Elementary All-County Chorus may be one of the largest on record, with over 250 singers enrolled!  Please be sure that your students are prepared for their first rehearsal -- we are not doing trio auditions as we have in previous years.  Our conductor, Flora Metrick, has chosen a lovely program and is excited to come up from her sunny Florida home to work with our kids.
The Intermediate Chorus is still without a chairperson, alas!  I'm taking care of as much as I can, so far, but help would be greatly appreciated.  My thanks go out to everyone who volunteered to help with the chorus at rehearsals, but I'm still hoping that an overall chairperson will step forward. 
The music mailing date was projected to be December 15 - keep your fingers crossed that everything arrives on time!
