Dear Colleagues,
Another school year is underway and it’s time to begin preparations for the 2010 All-County Intermediate Chorus! This school year the SUNY rehearsal and performance will be Saturday, March 20. The festival rehearsal will begin at 1:00 pm and the concert will begin at 4:00 pm.
The first of the two pre-festival rehearsals will be at White Plains Middle School - Highlands Campus on Tuesday, February 23 (snowdate Thursday, February 25). The second rehearsal will also take place at White Plains Middle School - Highlands Campus on Tuesday, March 16 (snowdate Thursday, March 18). Both rehearsals begin promptly at 3:30 and will last until 6:30pm.
All-County Chorus registration will be done ONLINE. The instructions for registering your school’s participation are explained below. Also, all deadlines are FIRM. After the deadline, registration will be closed. PLEASE DO NOT MISS THE DEADLINES! I cannot accept late registrations.

Prerequisites
1. Current 2009-10 WCSMA membership dues must be paid.
2. Students must be members of the chorus in their school.
3. Please send only students that are well prepared.
4. Make sure that students are aware and committed to ALL DATES (rehearsals/concert). ATTENDANCE AT ALL REHEARSALS IS MANDATORY and students must remain for the ENTIRE rehearsal. There are no exceptions, not even for illness.
5. It is YOUR responsibility to make certain all students and parents understand the attendance policy.
6. A chaperone must accompany your students at all rehearsals and
concert.
Registration
This year you will be registering your participating students on an excel spreadsheet via e-mail. For your convenience, all materials are available online at wcsma.org in the Intermediate and Intermediate Choral Festival sections.

The directions for using the online registration system are as follows:
1. Download the Intermediate Commitment Form and the Registration Form.
2. Fill out the appropriate forms completely.
3. Save a file for yourself.
4. Email a copy of the file as an attachment to jirlen@wcsma.org by the required deadlines indicated on the forms. E-mail is highly preferred. (If needed, instead of e-mail, you can print out and mail the forms to Jennifer Irlen at the address below.)
5. You will receive an email confirmation from the Festival Coordinator.
Additional items:
1. Download the Letter of Responsibility and distribute to each participating student.
2. Collect the Letter of Responsibility and $15 fee from each student.
3. Mail the Letters of Responsibility and fees by the postmark deadline to:
